The result is a design that excels in challenging terrain, and local manufacturing to bring it to life. Our patented traction pin design is made from heat-treated Hitachi stainless steel, and is profiled to deliver optimal traction with your shoe. Not only does the material make for a durable and resilient pin, they are also designed to be quick and painless to replace.

Pedals live a tough life, but it shouldn’t be a short one. Easily serviceable with common tools, and readily available spares, the Altar is designed for the long haul.
