We have kept our secret sauce for maximum traction and ride feel, with a long 128mm platform, deep concavity, and traction pin placement carefully chosen to maximize the feel of the pedal underfoot. Made with our unique recycled carbon fiber-reinforced nylon material, and patented traction pin design to ensure a reliable foothold for all of your two wheeled adventures.

We set out to build the ultimate platform pedal, and this is the result. Featuring a lightweight and resilient aluminum pedal body, a stainless steel spindle running on fully sealed cartridge bearings, and our patented full-length traction pins made from hardened Hitachi stainless steel, the Altar is designed to be the best and last plaftorm pedal you will ever need.

Limited edition colorway of our Altar v2 pedal, custom anodized in small batches.
For our sixth release we have three colorways: Ad Astra, Swamp Gas, and Plasmoid. Each pedal has an individual character and is totally unique, just like you.
Ad Astra is the pedal for when you send it to the moon and miss. A deep black base dotted with stars and purple swirls will take you to the cosmos.
Swamp Gas is an acid-washed verdant brew, freshly emerged from the mist. Much like the American crocodile, these pedals have biters lurking just above the swampy surface.
Plasmoid brings an orange color with a wash of lighter hues, right from the solar surface. These are a ray of free electrons designed to defy the laws of physics.

Inspired by the high country adventures at our doorstep, we set out to build a better pedal for the places we love to ride. The result is three generations of pedals all that continue to innovate on a design that excels in challenging terrain, can keep riding through abuse and are highly serviceable. Our goal was to build the best pedal you can ride, and we want to build it in a way we can be proud of. Our current line of product is the result of our efforts.

Functional Grip
Based around a long 120mm platform, 2.5mm of concavity and our patented Sharkstooth traction pin technology, the Alibi delivers the ultimate grip performance whether you are pedaling on an epic tour or mobbing laps at the bike park. Our design allows for better support of the foot, better grip, reduced hot spots, and better power transfer. This is why our last iteration, the Altar v2, received the “Best Grip” award from Pinkbike in the 2023 Flat Pedal Shootout.
The Alibi takes the same design principles and applies it to an eco-friendly version of our original pedal body material of choice, carbon-reinforced nylon, that is lightweight, durable, and glides off rocks with grace. Our goal is a pedal that will be a rock-solid partner from day one, until the wheels fall off.

ReVibe
The soul of the Alibi is a carbon fiber-reinforced nylon material that offers unequaled mechanical performance. Made from over 50% recycled content, we are also able to help protect the environments we love exploring on two wheels. With a blend of recovered ocean plastic, and post-industrial waste carbon unlocked via microwave pyrolysis, ReVibe is a technology that yields a superior material for a platform pedal with a focus on sustainability.
Sharktooth
Our patented traction pin design ensures that you’ll never run out of grip. By eliminating any threaded interface in the pedal body, damaged traction pins can be removed in either direction, and a replacement quickly and easily installed. Much like how a shark has rows of teeth waiting to replace those lost in action, the Alibi is always ready for the next adventure. Sharktooth technology is a simple way to make sure your pedals are born to bite.
